ECONAD Restores Ukraine’s Reservoirs for a Sustainable Future
At ECONAD, we are committed to addressing the environmental challenges that affect our ecosystems.
One of our key initiatives focuses on cleaning polluted reservoirs and restoring them as nature reserves.
A prime example is our support for the Vilshanske Reservoir project in Ukraine. This effort started with an initiative group transforming a former dumping ground into a protected area through collective action and innovation.
The Vilshanske team has made significant progress by conducting monthly clean-up events and educating the local community about sustainable living and waste sorting.
Now, we’re taking the next step: installing a trash catcher on the Tereblia River, designed to stop debris from entering the reservoir. This project is being developed with the help of Ukrainian engineers, and we hope to manufacture the components locally, further supporting the region’s sustainable growth.
At ECONAD, we believe in fostering collaboration between engineers, environmentalists, and communities to create long-term solutions. Join us in supporting projects that make a real difference for our environment! 💧🌱
